Orlando, Florida – April 20, 2025 – And so, let the storming of the theme park world commence with the opening of the newest and grandest Las Vegas attraction undertaking so far for Universal Orlando Resort- Epic Universe, scheduled to open to the public on May 22, 2025.

Mind you, this expansion of several billion dollars will mark the fourth theme park in the state for Universal and its first classic park opening since 1999. • Celestial Park – The central hub of the park, featuring original Universal content, floral landscapes, and rides like the Stardust Racers roller coaster.

Universal describes Epic Universe as its most technologically advanced park yet, incorporating facial recognition for express line access and immersive multi-sensory experiences across its themed zones.

The park is also expected to boost Orlando’s booming tourist economy. With 74 million visitors annually and $359 million in tourism tax revenue collected in Orange County last year alone, Universal’s expansion comes at a pivotal moment for Florida tourism.
