1. Wow Showroom
- Sightlines: 4/5
- Seat Comfort: 4/5
WOW Theater is not as large or imposing as all the other shows in Vegas but it was a lot bigger than what I had expected.
Once I walked in, it was quite an unexpected surprise to hear the chirping of birds and see waterfalls splashing around the place. It felt almost in the woods, so refreshing compared to all the hustle and bustle of the Rio Hotel.
One thing I loved about the Rio Showroom is the comfort of the padded seats. They seemed to give fairly reasonably varied seating, such as stools, booths, and chairs spacing between them.
Most seats are on the sides or run around the stage, meaning that many guests will watch from an angle. For the best experience, it’s noted that it’s better to sit in a center seat to get a direct view of the action. From the place I was seated – on the side – I couldn’t also see some of the action by acrobats going on backstage.
If you’re searching for a WOW show Las Vegas experience, this production offers something special. For those interested, reading WOW Las Vegas reviews can give you a better idea of the spectacular visuals and performances you can expect.
2. Show Summary/Storyline
- Story: 4/5
In WOW The Vegas Spectacular story, you follow a fisherman, played by Alex Traisci, on an adventure. The show starts with Alex sailing out on his boat to fish.
But soon, lightning strikes, and magical sea creatures appear, leading into the first act—an amazing cirque-style aerial performance.
As the story unfolds, Alex travels to different lands, with each place bringing a new act. For example, you’ll sail through Italy and see a plate-spinning chef or follow Alex to a performance by a famous Italian fountain.
Along the way, Alex also meets a woman and tries to win her heart. However, I felt like their romance wasn’t developed enough. There wasn’t much interaction between them at the start.
Overall, while the WOW show Vegas has a fun storyline, more focus on the romance could have made it even better.
3. The Vegas Super Spectacular Acts
- Circus Acts: 4.5/5
- Dancing: 4/5
- Comedy Routines: 4/5

👉🏻 Human Foot Juggling
Such a wonderful act was the Rodriguez brothers and their human juggling routine. So, that was an act well known in the circus, but it was my first time seeing something like this in Las Vegas.
With one brother lying on a bench, the other will be spinning and flipping off the feet of his brother. They basically performed one great stunt here called “the propeller,” in which he was getting lazily thrown into the air with super-fast spinning action from one of the brothers.
The whole act was amazing, and I was sitting at the edge of my seat. The skills involved were phenomenal-coupled with a great measure of trust and timing. It was six minutes of jaw-dropping stamina!
👉🏻 Silvia Silvia
Silvia Silvia, a favorite from season 10 of America’s Got Talent, is a must-see at WOW The Vegas Spectacular. She shoots arrows at balloons while her husband is just inches away. It’s impressive, especially since Silvia is in her 60s.
She also performs a dangerous stunt where she shoots an arrow that triggers a chain of crossbows, with the last aimed at an apple on her head. This was the most heart-pounding moment of the night!
👉🏻 Singing In The Rain
My favourite was the song “Singing in the Rain”: dancers in their raincoats with umbrellas on during the rain, with splashes from the dance floor under them! Awesome and some even flipped over in the water!
4. Awe-inspiring Special Effects
- Video Screens: 5/5
- Water Stage: 3.75/5
👉🏻 Video Screens
I was impressed by the special effects in WOW The Vegas Spectacular reviews. Unlike most variety shows where you just see acts on stage with a plain curtain, WOW Las Vegas show takes things to a whole new level.
The show features 180-degree wraparound screens, creating scenes designed for each performance. For instance, it is shown on the screen as though a beautiful woman swims inside a glass bowl at the Trevi Fountain in Italy.
But this is only part of the story; the backgrounds are certainly impressive. A few projections follow the move, so you feel like you are on a journey in your seat. It’s kind of like the FlyOver experience, if you’ve ever tried that.
For example, you’ll feel like you’re “rocking” with ocean waves during a Titanic-themed dance number:
A ballroom dance routine with the Titanic in the background.
Or, you’ll float down an Italian canal with Alex the fisherman:
The fisherman floats through an Italian waterway.
👉🏻 Water Stage
Some acts in the show even use water, and the rear stage actually turns into a water stage. It’s not as deep as the water in O, but it’s still pretty cool and different from most shows in Las Vegas.
Is It Worth the Cost?
- Value: 4/5
WOW The Vegas Spectacular is a mid-priced Las Vegas show that’s very popular with visitors.
During my visit, I counted 11 acts in total, not including the comedy routines Alex performs between shows. So, for the price, you’re getting a lot of entertainment.
What I liked about this production is that there’s something for everyone. Even if you’re not into a dance number or a comedy routine, you’ll likely enjoy one of the other acts.
Ticket prices vary quite a bit—there’s about a $40 difference between the VIP and cheapest ticket options.
Considering that, I’d recommend the Premium seats for the best value for the money. If you can book early enough, try to grab the Premium Front Center seats for the best view of the action.

My Wow Las Vegas Reviews!
WOW Las Vegas Reviews say that the show is full of fun and vibrancy with awesome stunts, comedy, dance, and acrobatics. WOW Show Vegas has great value, especially with Premium seating.
Though not close to Cirque, it still has a lot of great moments. Ideal for the entire family, also for couples or solo tour travelers. Would make the night out in Las Vegas memorable.
What Can Be Improved More?
While Wow Show Las Vegas delivers fun and excitement, there’s still room to grow. Some acts could use tighter coordination, and the storyline may leave viewers a bit puzzled. Here’s a look at the key areas for improvement, based on personal experience and insights from Las Vegas show reviews.
👉🏻Pirate Act Missed the Mark
The pirate-themed number felt a bit off. The dancers weren’t in sync, and the energy seemed low. Because of that, the impressive acrobat in the background was easy to miss. More spotlight on the acrobat and better coordination could have made this act shine.
👉🏻 Storyline Confusion
Although a storyline isn’t necessary, Wow tries to include one. But it’s not always easy to follow. Alex’s love story seemed sudden, and the transitions between scenes weren’t clear. Still, as noted in some Las Vegas show reviews, if you focus on the variety acts, you’ll have a good time either way.
